I've created this blog to write about something that is near and dear to my heart . . . fantasy baseball. I've been infatuated with fantasy sports for about 10 years now. I first fell head over heels for fantasy football with my childhood friends in high school, which led into brief flings with fantasy baseball and basketball. Fantasy football eventually gave way to fantasy baseball for me when I was a freshman in college and it's been my one true love ever since. Don't get me wrong, I still immensily enjoy fantasy football, but baseball just has something that football doesn't. The fantasy baseball season lasts six months, while the fantasy football season only lasts four months. I am always excited for Sunday during the football season, but baseball games are played almost every day and I'm thrilled every day to check out how my fantasy team is doing. Some may call it an addiction, others an infatuation, but you know what I like to call it? Love. Addictions are harmful, infatuations are temporary, but love is forever. This is definitely the forever kind of love that I'm tangled up in with fantasy baseball.
This blog will cover many different topics and aspects about fantasy baseball including but not limited to: The fantasy baseball league I've run with various friends from high school and college for the last five years, analysis of players and teams, and everything else baseball you can possibly imagine. So just sit back, relax, and let's play ball!
